Dr. William Licamele is a child and adolescent psychiatrist in McLean, Virginia, where he has been in private practice for over 38 years.  He is also a clinical professor of psychiatry and pediatrics at Georgetown University School of Medicine, and served as the director of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Georgetown University until 1997.  He also served as the director of the Georgetown University Tourette Syndrome Clinic and has been a psychiatric consultant at Georgetown Day School for thirty years.  Dr. Licamele also completed his child and adolescent fellowship at Georgetown University.  He has been named a Washington “Top Doctor” in psychiatry numerous times.

Dr. Licamele is an avid supporter of Georgetown University and remains actively involved in alumni affairs.  He has served on the Georgetown University Alumni Association Board of Governors, and is currently a senator.  In addition, he has been a longtime member of both the Hoya Hoop Club and Hoyas Unlimited boards of directors.  Dr. Licamele also participates in the Georgetown Alumni Admissions Program as an alumni interviewer and is on the School of Medicine Alumni Board.  Three of his children graduated from Georgetown, as did their spouses.
