Alexis George joined UBS in December of 2015 as a Financial Advisor. She came from Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management, where she worked as a Registered Client Service Associate. She was responsible for the marketing and business development process for her team and managed the consultative process for prospective clients.
Prior to her foray into the financial services industry, Alexis came from a career in Project Management Consulting. She consulted as a Certified International Configuration Manager (CICM), and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and her clients were Lockheed Martin, Entergy Nuclear, and the College Board.
Alexis graduated with a B.A. in English from Georgetown University where she also played goalkeeper on the women’s soccer team. She went on to receive an MBA from the University of Maryland University College. She holds her Series 7, 66, and life and health insurance licenses, and is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) practitioner.
She sits on the board of Independent Grounds Coffee House, which serves to equip Autistic students with the necessary skills to seek and maintain employment once they graduate from high school. She is also a member of the Hoyas Unlimited board, where she serves as a philanthropic leader and ambassador for all athletic programs at Georgetown University. Alexis enjoys adventure travel, whether it be cage diving with Great Whites in South Africa or trekking the lemurs of Madagascar. She currently resides in Washington, D.C. with her husband, Wesley, and their rescue dog, Cayman.
