Ambassador Tatiana C. Gfoeller graduated with a BS/MSFS in 1983. She joined the Foreign Service in 1984. Her specialties include the FSU, Middle East, and political-military affairs. Her postings included: Warsaw, Riyadh, Moscow, USSR, NATO International Staff, Moscow, Russia, Ashgabat as DCM, St. Petersburg as A/CG, a Rusk Fellowship at Georgetown University’s ISD, Director of the Office of DRL/MLA at the State Dept., Jeddah as CG, Bishkek as Ambassador, the Pentagon as POLAD to the Chief of Staff of the Army and now POLAD to the Chief of the National Guard Bureau. She is married and has a son.
