Scott E. Pedowitz is a 2002 graduate of the School of Foreign Service. Scott has most recently served as the campaign manager for Libby Garvey’s (D) successful re-election campaign for the Arlington County Board in 2016. The race included a competitive Democratic primary, and then joining a joint campaign ticket that included local and Congressional candidates along with Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine’s bid for the White House. Prior to his professional turn in local politics, Scott engaged in community activities in his spare time whilst working in management consulting in the DC area and economic research in the financial services industry in NYC. Along with his BSFS, Scott has an MSc in economics from University College London, and keeps ample time to enjoy his seats at Hoya men’s basketball and the Washington Nationals.

Mark Lerner graduated from SFS (bachelor’s degree) in 2009 and the Government Department (master’s degree) in 2010. Right after college, he worked full-time as a paralegal at the Department of Justice while attending graduate school at Georgetown. Since then, Mark has worked at the Department of Defense.
